In some situations we use reinforced profiles with our aluminum frames. The reinforced profiles are used with the SL38 profile for larger dimensions. You can read more about the situations in which we use reinforced profiles below.
We currently use reinforced profiles on all double aluminum doors with two sidelights. The reinforcement is applied to prevent sagging of the frame. Sagging can be caused, for example, by the weight of the glass. By applying the reinforced profiles, we can guarantee the stiffness of the aluminum. The profiles are applied to the outside of the posts on the outsides of the door opening.
The reinforced profiles are supplied as standard in the color of the frame.
