There are two choices, namely: Coastal or Industrial and Standard . In the configurator you can easily indicate which coating you want to apply.
Surface treatment
The difference between the two choices is in the surface treatment. The aluminum is provided with an oxide layer by means of anodising. This oxide layer makes the frame corrosion resistant. When choosing coast or industry, an anodisation layer of 25 mu is used. The standard has a layer thickness of 20 mu.
Art or industry
The material requires a different treatment if it is placed near the coast or heavy industry. This applies to:
- Up to 1 km from the coastline (due to salt)
- Up to 1 km from an industrial area with heavy industry (due to chemical emissions)
- Comes into direct contact with swimming water (due to chlorine)
