General maintenance
Cleaning the plastic frames is extremely easy. Clean your window frames with a damp sponge and use a household cleaner. It’s important to make sure you choose a non-abrasive, water-based cleaner. Do not use chlorine or ammonia based cleaners. A simple soapy water with all-purpose cleaner or some washing-up liquid is all you need to clean plastic frames.
Nowadays, plastic frames are almost indistinguishable from wooden frames , because wood grain foils are used. This application gives a plastic frame the appearance of a wooden frame, but you still benefit from a number of advantages compared to maintaining wooden frames.

Be careful with dark colors
Supply Online strongly advises against placing very dark plastic frames and windows on South and West facades. The window frames are heavily loaded by sunlight and rain. If you opt for a dark finish, this naturally means more maintenance.
Keep beautiful for longer
You can easily combine cleaning your window frames with washing the windows. It is wise to wax the window frames once a year after cleaning. Fitting maintenance
For optimal preservation of the fittings of our frames, we recommend that you carry out the following maintenance work every year:
- Lubricate all moving parts and closing elements of the fitting and check their operation
- Carefully loosen the window handle handle escutcheon and tighten the window handle fixing screws.
