Triple glass vs double glass

Possibilities glass and plastic
When replacing your window frames , it is also wise to look at the possibilities in the field of glass. Single glazing is no longer of this time and that is why we supply standard HR++ (double glazing), HR+++ glazing and also safety glazing.
High-efficiency glass is increasingly being used. This glass is good for the climate and comfort of living. The glass has a thin insulating metal layer on the inside of one of the glass plates and the cavity may possibly be filled with noble gas. Both hr++ double glass and hr+++ triple glass are high-efficiency glass. At Toelevering Online we supply our frames with HR glazing as standard. Prefer to order an unglazed window? Which can! You can choose a glazed or unglazed window. If you opt for glazing, we supply the glass with the wooden frame, plastic frame or aluminum frame at Toelevering Online.
Triple vs. double glass
In addition to double glazing, we now also supply triple glazing for our frames . Why would you go for triple glazing instead of double glazing? The third glass layer of triple glass provides extra insulation and a lower U-value. The lower the better! The thickness of the glass layers differ, see table below.
