Install frames
Before you start installing the new frames, it is important to know that an adjustable frame is necessary when installing the plastic frames from Toelevering Online. All plastic frames are fitted with a stop as standard.
Place frame with stop
You place the frame with the stop against the adjustable frame that has been mounted in the work and you simply attach the frame by screwing it down. Remove plastic frame
With Toelevering Online, the glass is always placed in the frame before delivery, to protect the glass during transport. NB! The glass is transported loose in the cavity to prevent glass breakage. When mounting, the glass must always be removed and screwed on. Blocking is very important, because otherwise it will sag with a rotating part. Even with fixed glass, the glass must be removed and replaced after installation.
The glass is supplied separately with the Gealan frames and with the K-VISION the glass is placed in the frame. The glazing bars are not fully clicked into the frame, so you can easily remove them. That depends on the frame. Glass is heavy, which makes it more difficult to mount the frame when it is in the frame. Before installing the frame, remove the glass if necessary, so you can move the frame a lot easier. In addition, the frame must be screwed down when it is in the desired position. Demolish old windows

Step 3: check frame on delivery
Before you remove the old frame, check whether the order is complete, the dimensions match and the properties are correct. Step 4: Remove old window frames (if necessary)
Before you can install the new custom-made frames from Toelevering Online, it is important that you remove the old frames. The demolition of the old window frames starts with the removal of the rotating parts (doors or windows). You remove the glass in fixed frames by cutting the sealant loose, and proceed carefully when removing the glazing bars. With the help of suction cups you remove the glass from the rebate. At any intermediate posts and sills, you make 2 saw cuts, so you can remove the sawn piece of the frame. You can then further demolish styles and sills. Use the same method when removing the intermediate posts and the top and bottom sill of the frame.

Step 5: Place the plastic frame
Now that the adjustable frame has been placed, you can easily attach the plastic frame using the pre-drilled mounting holes. Make sure you level the frame and set the posts perpendicular to the sill. You do this with the help of spacers and a spirit level. If you install a frame with rotating parts, you initially fix the frame at a few mounting holes, then level it and check the rotating part for functionality before you finally anchor and finish it.
In the end, it’s all about the windows and doors working properly. A window frame can still be level, but if the doors do not turn properly, then it is of no use to you. Step 6: finishing
If the frame is square and the rotating parts function properly, then anchor the frame definitively by attaching the frame to the adjustable frame via all pre-drilled holes.
To make the connection between frame and adjustable frame airtight, work from the inside. Preferably with a sealant joint between the window frame and the adjustable frame. In practice, in most cases, the space between the adjustable frame and the frame is completely purged by means of elastic pur, the advantage of which is that this space has a good heat resistance. The disadvantage is that the ventilation of the adjustable frame is limited and that moisture transport takes place via the PUR foam, which increases the risk of leakage.
Placing plastic frames with attack
A plastic frame with a stop has an edge (stop) all around that protrudes a few millimeters from the side of the frame. With the Gealan S9000NL and the K-VISION TREND profile, the stop is 18 mm. With the K-VISION CLASSIC profile this is 21 mm.
In the negge, the hole where the frame comes in, an adjustable frame (strip or lath) is placed on the masonry. We recommend installing an adjustable frame that is 3 to 5 mm thinner than the thickness of the corresponding stop. Please note, make sure that you attach the adjustable frame level and evenly.
Plastic frames water and draft proof
The plastic frame overlaps the adjustable frame with the stop. An integrated rubber seal ensures that the frame is water and draught-tight. Drill the adjustable frame onto the cavity batten and/or the bricks. Then fix the plastic frame to the adjustable frame in the pre-drilled mounting holes.
